§ 05Who We Are

Kaimera Industries exists to turn ideas into working solutions.

The projects may change dramatically—from machines and fabricated components to structures, energy systems, computing hardware, and experimental builds—but the process is remarkably consistent: understand the problem, design the solution, build it, test it, and improve it.

Kaimera was founded by Jessie Erwin, an aerospace engineer, former U.S. Army aviation officer, entrepreneur, and technical leader whose career has crossed aviation, defense, manufacturing, engineering, prototyping, and technology development. That experience provides the foundation, but Kaimera is intentionally broader than any single discipline.

CAD, CNC machining, plasma cutting, additive manufacturing, welding, electronics, systems integration, and emerging technologies are simply tools available to solve the problem at hand. Sometimes the result is a one-off component. Sometimes it becomes a product, a kit, a set of plans, a digital tool, or an entirely new project.

The mission is simple: build useful things, solve interesting problems, and share the solutions when they can make someone else's project easier.

Principles

How the shop operates.

01

Design first

Every part is drawn before it's cut. Documentation is a deliverable, not a hope.

02

One roof

Machining, welding, wiring, and engineering under the same lights.

03

Small batches

We build in editions, not in mass. Every unit gets attention.

04

Serviceable

Fasteners over adhesives. Documentation over guesswork. Repair over replace.
